He was predeceased by: his parents, John Samuel and Grace Mae Mayse (Lathrop); his wife Marguerite Mayse; his siblings, Viola Mayse Hinkley, Edward Mayse, Robert Mulligan and Anthony Mulligan; his son Hugh Mayse Jr.; and his nephew Robert Brown (Marilyn).

He is survived by: his former wife Betty Jean Stevens; his daughter Debra Ballard (Larry); his grandchildren, David Barnett (Raquel), Letisa Vargas (Jared) and Julia Barnett (Colton); his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Brody Vargas, Lily Mason and Liam Barnett; his stepdaughter Shelli Holcomb; and his sister Ilene Carroll (Glen). He is also survived by 2 children, a daughter and later a son.

In Lieu of flowers I think Dad would have requested a donation to the Weiser Community Church or Weiser Elks Lodge scholarship fund.
