He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Willard 'Kent Smith; his parent Thomas Martin Smith; his former spouse Cherry Mae Ashby; his brother-in-law Herb Ashby; his uncle James Poulton; his wife Charlotte Prewitt Plaster; his sibling Falls; his mother Bernice Drake Rose; his great grandchild Faith Lynn Prewitt; and his stepchildren, Arlen Prewitt (Terry), Laura Stanger (Stewart), Tony Prewitt (Jody), John Plaster and Kelly Plaster. He was also cherished by his 8 children.
