With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter Ranft (Twin Falls, Idaho), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 14, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Walter leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Walter may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter L. Ranft and Elizabeth Ranft (Marco); and his siblings, Ramona Orr of Wisconsin, Robert Ranft of South Dakota and James Ranft of South Dakota.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Daphnia Ranft (Miles); his daughter Karla Jean Long (Paul); and his siblings, Karen Louise Lohnes (Verlyn) of Mayfield, UT, Kathy Marie Dahl (Norman) of Safford, AZ., William Ranft of South Dakota, Leroy Ranft of Arkansas and Caroline Foreman of South Dakota. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
