She was predeceased by: her son Steven Stringer (Neva); her great grandchild Daniel Johnson; her parents, Arnold Claiborne and Donna Claiborne; and her siblings, Irene, Jean, Virginia and David.
She is survived by: her children, Lynette Penman (Terry), Craig Stringer (Susan), Gary Stringer (Renee) and Stephanie Dickey (Kevin); and her brother Lee Claiborne (Vonnie). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren.
