He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Janis Hurd; his children, Joe Nicholson (Karen) of Mukilteo, WA, Jeff Nicholson (December) of Battle Ground, WA, Donavon Hurd (Monica) of Picabo, ID, Jarod Hurd (Francesca) of North Plains, OR, Jessica Galloway (Jermaine) of Prosper, TX and Lety Martinez (Simon) of Wendell; his mother Juanita Hurd; his siblings, Cynthia Lundstrom and Mike Hurd (Pam); his father Ralph Marlin Hurd; his grandparents, Ralph, Esther Hurd, Earl and Lorena McGhee; and his brother-in-law Jim Lundstrom. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
