With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sondra Jean Hixon of Twin Falls, Idaho, born in Haven, Kansas, who passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley E. Nelson and Myrtle Nelson (Dennis); her siblings, Clayburn E Nelson, Glen Nelson, Letilia Philips and Shirley Sutten; and her husband Willie Lee Hixon.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Chelsea Palmer of Texas; her great grandchild Barrett; her nieces and nephews, Charles Waldemar (Lorna), Jerry Waldemar, Stuart Waldemar, Ron Nelson, Sue Parker, Julie Nelson, Linda Johnson, Darlene Coates and Tammy Gardner; and her sister-in-law Dee Nelson of Buhl.
