He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl F. Boyd and Inez J. Boyd; his daughter Cynthia Kay; and his brother Jack Boyd. He is survived by: his sibling Falls; his son Brent Roger Boyd; his wife Doris; his son Jim Boyd; and his brother Richard Boyd. He is also survived by his four grandchildren.

Donations in Roger's name may be made to a charity of choice or to the Salvation Army.
