It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Cook of Twin Falls, Idaho, who passed away on August 31, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Richard Cook to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Maxon and Enid Richards Cook. He is survived by: his daughters, Cori Barrera and Melisa Cooper; his sibling Falls; his wife Wanda Cook; his son Martin Cook; his siblings, Janice Taylor and Dennis Cook (Wendy) of Utah; and his cousin Pat Richards. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Magic Valley Symphony at PO Box 1805, Twin Falls, Idaho 83303 or to the Twin Falls Municipal Band (city band) c/o at First Federal Bank, 383 Shoshone Street North, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301: James R Wilson Memorial Fund (Scholarship fund).

“I first met Richard Cook in symphonic band. Being in a large group with so many experienced people was unbelievably scary for me, but Richard always made things so much better. I sat next to him in symphonic band and he gave me so much advice and was unbelievably sweet, kind, and helpful. While the other adults in my section payed no mind to me, Richard always made sure to talk to me and ask how I was. He was an amazing man and I'm grateful for the short time I knew him.”
