She is survived by: her children, Tony Avelar (Cecilia), Maria Teixeira, Helen Matos, Joe Avelar (Anna) and Larry Avelar. She is also survived by her two sisters, and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
