He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie V. Dean and Ruby Kunkel Dean; his siblings, Dorothy and Lee; his grandchildren, Sarah Dean and Mike Slagowski; and his wife Doris Hollis Dean.
He is survived by: his sibling Falls; his former wife Lyla Billings; and his children, Dorothy, Laurie Sue, Elizabeth, John and Patricia A. Dean (Jon Chapman). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital or a charity of their choice.
