He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Stoner and Sarah Salmen Secrist; his former wife Marian Bogue; his stepchildren, Cindy Lee Bachman (Frank) of Bruneau and Gregory David Secrist (Bonnie) of Spring Creek, Nevada.; his wife Carol Jane Smith (Jane); his daughters, Laura Rhodes Clarke (George) of Birmingham and Tracey Rhodes Breski (Brandt) of Boise, Idaho.; his sibling Falls; his son Greg; his grandchildren, Christopher "Kit" (Jessica), Lynn (Tiffany), Jeana (Dean), Geoffory (Jessica), Gregory (Jeanna), Pierce, Erin, Kayleigh (Shane), Logan, Alec and Moriah; his great grandchildren, Susan and Julie (Richard); and his nephew Michael (Tammy).
