Jerry Gerard Duffy Obituary
Born in Chicago, Illinois to John Gerard Duffy Sr. and Aylene Victoria. Raised in Los Angeles, California. Attended Military school in the 4th grade. Left home at 15, came to Buhl, Idaho to live with his grandparents C.D. and Vera Boring (Boring Drug). Fell in love with Idaho and Nancy.
Hauling hay, milking cows, helping clean the drug store were early jobs. After graduating high school in 1962, he worked for Tom Revie at Tom's Auto Body Shop in Twin Falls, Idaho. Getting married September 1963, during lunch hour. Then worked for Everton Mattress Factory for 12 years. Then on to own and operate Nat-Soo-Pah for 24 years. Sold Nat-Soo-Pah in 2000 and retired.
His passions were guns, hunting, motorcycles (rode & trail), Jeeps and ATV'S. Entered and won Top Truck Challenge 2005 with his friend Jeff Trammell. We drove our 401K! Over the years we belonged to 2 Jeep Clubs and Magic Valley ATV Club. We are thankful to all the people who have touched our lives.
Our truly Best Gifts! Our only child was born June 19, 1973, Tracy Marie! And our only grandchild, Jeras John born July 24, 2004.
Survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy, daughter Tracy, grandson Jeras, all 5 siblings, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many Dear Friends! As per Jerry's wishes there will be no funeral. His ashes will be placed in the Filer Cemetery next to Nancy's parents Adolph and Dorothy Lehman. Remember at the next campfire, put another log 0n the fire!
