Gladys Smith Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Smith of Twin Falls, Idaho, born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, who passed away on January 19, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Julius J. Niven and Gladys Buffkin Niven; her former husband Ellery Summer; her grandchildren, Hollywood Rummy and Then; her sibling Falls; her husband Don; her brother Julius Niven (Sylvia); her children, Ellery, Jay, Scott Summer (Charlotte), Debbie Larson (Russell), Becky Allred and Suzi Summer; her sons-in-law, Rick Suyehira and Brent Bronson; and her daughter Kathy Jost (Brian). She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

For this reason, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to qualified research facilities working in the above specified fields.
