She was predeceased by: her parent Reed Maughan; her daughter Jacquie; and her sister Kathleen. She is survived by: her husband Arnold Cernik; her children, Karyn McKenna and Allen Cernik; and her brothers, Richard and Doug.

In keeping with her lifelong love of animals, donations in her memory can be made to People For Pets Humane Society in Twin Falls.
