Elaine Bowen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2024, at the age of 97, Elaine Bowen of Twin Falls, Idaho, born in Alliance, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John D Hofferber and Eugenia C Hofferber (Laing); and her children, James R. Bowen and Janet E. Witherspoon. She is survived by: her significant other Harold O; her children, Mark Bowen (Lillian) of Nampa, Mary Jane Thompson (Sean) of Meridian, Laura Newbry (Bob) and Lisa Maxwell (Paul); her daughter-in-law Kathy Bowen of Moreno Valley, CA.; and her brother Ralph L. Hofferber (Harold O. Bowen).
The family suggests that memorial contributions in honor of Elaine Bowen can be given to the Twin Falls First United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund or may be made to Cottey College which is supported by PEO to further women in education.
