She was predeceased by: her mother Bessie Cox; her half-sisters, Judy, Edith, Jean, Cleo and Bonnie; her sister Joyce Hirsch (Robert); her father Ernie; her granddaughter Melanie Straubhaar; and her great grandchild Hope Gilbert.

She is survived by: her husband Jan Kristian Aase; her stepsons, Erik Aase (Lisa), Arvid Aase (Joane), Jared and Jason Aase (Emily); and her children, Terry Straubhaar (Laurie), Glen Straubhaar (Connie), Steven Straubhaar and Tori Kerbs (Jeff). She is also survived by her stepchildren; eleven grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
