He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Cowger (John) and Margaret Cowger (O'Dell); his brother-in-law Dave Ollenberger; and his nephew Jason Leach. He is survived by: his wife Vickie; his grandchild John Deere; his wife Becky Cowger; his children, Shane Blakeslee (Stacey), Lisa Pearson, Davy Cowger (Janna) and Dale Cowger (Jennifer); his siblings, Wilma Mobley (Mike), Marva Ollenberger, Steve Cowger (Vickie) and Jerry Cowger (Shari); and his grandchildren, Mercedes, Morgan, Tyce Pearson, Canyon, Aleia, Jace Blakeslee, Garrett Cowger, Katie Cowger, Brayden Cowger and Brody Cowger.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stanley Christian Fellowship C/O Hans Buhler PO Box 68, Stanley ID 83278, a church that held a special place in David's heart.
