He is survived by: his wife Dianna Ruth Day Cooper; his siblings, Connie Halcome (Jim), Milton Cooper (Michelle), Joyce McDonald (Ken), Mike Cooper (Wendy), Amelia Dumas (Scott), Dan Cooper (Catherine), Lucy Smith (John Marcroft) and Brandell Smith; his sons, Duane Leigh Cooper Phillips and Derek Cooper; his stepchildren, Clifford Romero and Donita Romero; and also, Peanut and Cleo. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 1 more great-grandchild.
