Cleve left this world on April 13, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vince Buttars and Della Buttars; his wife Debra Shaw Buttars; and his siblings, Rodney Buttars and Paulette Bryan.

He is survived by: his wife Nannette Buttars; his children, Julie Schnoor (Clint), Ryan Buttars, Carrie Palermo (Che) and Tracie Lindsey (Jonny); his stepchildren, Amy Anderson (Jared), Lindsay Cook (Matt), McKay Nuttall and Kylie Dennis (Brendan); his grandchildren, Jack, Ellie, Lucy, Audrey, Beck, Max, Evelyn, Jude, Poppy, Lena, Scarlett, Archer, Margot, William, Jameson, Nicolas, Spencer, Marcus, Tyler, Wade, Gwen, Billie and Annie; and his siblings, Monte Buttars (Suzanne), Darrell Buttars (Marianne), Bob Buttars (Leann) and Bonnie Monson (Rick).

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White-Reynolds Funeral Chapel (2466 Addison Ave E, Twin Falls, ID 83301). Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the LDS Stake Center. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - Twin Falls Stake Center (2085 S Temple Dr, Twin Falls, ID 83301). A burial will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Logan City Cemetery (1000 N 1200 E, Logan, UT 84321).
