He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas and Rachel Ellen Woolstenhulme Beard; his son Kenneth; and his siblings, George, Ervin, Orin, Donald, Edna Kyte and Carol Beard.
He is survived by: his wife Dorlene Burgener of Darby; his children, Jenny Smith (Gary) of Idaho Falls, Becky Muench (Jeff) of Rexburg and Randy Beard (Pamela) of Rexburg; his daughter-in-law Sonia Beard of Rexburg; and his sister Sherry Zohner (Gary) of Victor. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
