She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Peterson and Sarah Peterson; her husband James Egbert Nelson; her son Calvin Dee Nelson; and her granddaughter Rochelle DeAnn Nelson Olsen.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy (Dennis), Harvey (Cheryl), Jerry (DeAnn) and Mary (Tom). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
