She is survived by: her children, Wendy Welch (Scott), Lance Bates (Katrina), Becky Bates, Shanell Otteson (Rod), Kendra Black (Jared) and Derek Bates (Marcie); her siblings, Wayne Schiess (Leora), Bonnie Nelson, Rilla Corbett, Lyle Schiess (Kelly) and Tim Schiess (Pat); and her sisters-in-law, Penny Schiess, Linda Bates and Mary Lou Westover (Gary). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren.
