He was predeceased by: his parents, Lauren Douty and Gertrude Douty (Nenstiel); and his siblings, Ila, Henry and Delbert.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Marilyn Lyon; his daughter Deana VandenHoek (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Kelsey, Brennan and Kiernen.
