He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Karen Miller and Ronald Nielsen. He is survived by: his parents, Troy Nielsen and Brenda Nielsen; his siblings, Matt Nielsen (McKenna), Andy Nielsen, Jamie Dixson (Zach), Jennifer Nielsen, Thomas Nielsen and Joseph Nielsen; and his grandparents, Janice Nielsen and Russell Miller.

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the many kindnesses they have received from the community, and they ask that any donations be directed to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
