George Cecil Sharp Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Cecil Sharp of Soda Springs, Idaho, who passed away on March 8, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas Sharp and Mattie Emma Webb Sharp; his siblings, Thomas Edward Sharp, Jesse Woodard Sharp, J. C. Sharp, Mary Emma Sharp Williams and Douglas Roy Bennion; his son Stephen Curtis Lansberry Jr.; and his grandson Tyson Andrew Lansberry.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa Bennion Sharp of Pocatello, Idaho; his children, Jeffery Bass Sharp (Rhonda) of Cookville, David Alan Sharp (Tracy) of Oakland, Tennessee and Briana Dawn McBeth (Jeffrey) of Sylvan Lake; his siblings, Douglas Odell Sharp (Jane) of Tuscumbia, Alabama, Brenda Dickman (Bob) of Pocatello and Kathleen Bennion of Fresno, California; his mother-in-law Gerry Bennion of Pocatello, Idaho; his daughter-in-law Millie Mathis (Ryan); his grandchildren, Kaylee Cook (Brian), Colton Sharp (Kristina), Ashley Sharp and Anise Sharp; his great grandchildren, Mason Cook and Everett Cook; his grandchildren, Joshua Tanner Lansberry (Grace), Hope Elizabeth Lansberry, Jayden Alan George McBeth, Matthew Curtis McBeth and Halle Dawn McBeth; and his great grandchildren, Bryson Lansberry and Hunter Lansberry.
