He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Tingey and Thora Oler Tingey; his wife Sarah Begaye; and his siblings, Sandra Lewis, Rula Parkin, Nannette Miller, Mardean Jensen, Ruth Jennings and Harold Nixon.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Tingey of Fort Collins, CO, Karla Battle of Chesterfield, VA and Dianna Bowles (Shaun) of Logan, UT.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made to assist with funeral expenses.
