She was predeceased by: her mother Charlotte Smith; and her sister Peggy. She is survived by: her husband John Preston; her sons, Clinton and Justin Hartman; her grandchildren, Jeremiah and Willow; and her sisters, Kim Smith and Priscilla Pierce. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
