She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Grant McCowan and Eunice Cleveland McCowan Harrison; her siblings, Herb-Kenneth, Richard McCowan and Elaine Hall; and her nephews, Chad and Jordan McCowan.
She is survived by: her husband James Alva Scott; her children, Ron, Brenda, Debi (Jim Ruth) and Brad (Becky); and her brother Randy (Dorene). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
