It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Goerge Mark Schaefer in Shoshone, Idaho, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Schaefer and Deloria Schaefer (Faust); and his wife Kathy of Schaefer's Marine. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Willard of St. Maries, ID, Larry Wilburn (Jodi) of Wallace, ID and Shori Horak (Brian) of Spokane, WA; his grandchildren, Kasey, Skyler, Ash, Katie, Laura, Lewey, Tiffany and Hilarey; his siblings, Doug Schaefer (Cathi) of Rathdrum, ID and Patty Schaefer (Robin Towne) of Silverton, ID; his niece Tes; and his nephew Dan. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain View Cemetery.
