She was predeceased by: her mother Lyla Kotter. She is survived by: her father Verle Kotter; her siblings, Alana, Verla, Mike and Jim; and her grandchildren, Evey, Aly, Ben, Peter, Elsy, Lyla, Mary and Baby Tommy.

The number of people who called her "bestie" and "mother" is a testament to her warmth, kindness, and charity, as well as her strength of character.
