He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Albert Messerli and Alta Blanche Brown Messerli; his former wife Kathleen; and his brothers, Gerald Messerli and Larry Messerli.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Messerli of Shelley, Idaho.; his sons, David Messerli Jr. (Linda) of California and John Messerli of California; and his brother Bob Messerli (Ann) of Terreton.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Terreton LDS Stake Center (1297 E 1500 N, Terreton, ID 83450).
