He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustin Lucero and Cleotilde Lucero; his brother Frank "Pops" Lucero; his son Andrew Lucero; his grandson Luke Cisneros; and his great grandchild Nivea Fresquez.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Lorraine (Bob), Tino, Gene, Dominic (Pam) and Joaquin (Nicolette); and his stepchildren, Eddie (Jacqueline), Jon (Cyndie) and Adrianna (Gary). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
