He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston Klontz and Dorothy Klontz (Schaeffer); his siblings, Roderick Lee, Jeffrey and Marilyn; and his father-in-law Sam.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his children, Danny of Tokyo, Japan, John of Post Falls, Idaho, Naomi (Dwayne) of Irvine and Rick (Cathy) of Sandpoint; his stepdaughter Heidi (Jamie) of Battle Ground; his mother-in-law Lorraine Otto of Wenatchee; and his friends, Chuck, Dianna Hartshorn, John Joseph, Kenny Miranaka, Rick, Carolynn Peterson and Jorie Gaines of Sandpoint. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, siblings, her cousins, his cousins.
