“Dear Shirley's family: I am sure you won't remember me but I was Magnus Pladsons niece from North Dakota. Mag was my dad's brother and Mag's first wife Marie was my mom's sister. I spent a lot of time with Mag growing up and when I lived in Ridgecrest for a couple years, I spent time over at your mom and Mag's place many times. I believe Sherie was out of the house but I do remember Valynn and LeeAnn. Karin let me know about Shirley's passing. Hopefully she is giving Uncle Mag a big hug. Kim”
