He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Benda and Dorothy Benda; and his daughter Christina Mason. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Benda of Sandpoint; his children, James Benda of Sandpoint, Kimberly Swoboda (Chris) of Priest River, Emily Patton of Post Falls and Larry Cragun of Boise; his siblings, Shirley Evans of Ponderay, Arnold Benda of Cocolalla, Don Benda (Brenda) of Hillsboro, OR, Rex Benda (Sandee) of Rathdrum, Randy Benda of Clark Fork and Cliff Benda (Terri) of St. Maries; and his parents-in-law, June Dull of Sandpoint, Larry, Jona Bacon, Richard Dull, Jerry and Molly Dull. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
