He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Agar and Charles Agar; and his brothers, Russell and Jack Agar. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheri, Betsy and Jenny; his wife Margaret Agar (Miller); and his sister Mary Boylan (Agar). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
