She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Church Sr. and Frances Church (McNutt); her grandparents, Alva and Opal McNutt; and her husband Theodore Ira Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Strandy, Teresa Snyder-Verhoeff, Scott Sams (Linda) and Bil Sams (Sheila); and her brothers, Melvin Church (Mary) and Luther Church Jr. (Lorrie). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
