Larry Smith wrote a sympathy message

“So very sorry to hear of Bud passing. I always thought I would make it out there one day to visit. He was very enjoyable cousin during my youth we would visit my cousins very summer in Washington. Bud visited us in Akron one year to attend the soapbox derby. He was very funny and talented on the piano we always looked forward to time together as you get older you lose track of what's important family. Love Larry and Rosemary Smith, Melbourne Beach, Fl.”

Sally Price wrote a sympathy message

“In loving memory of Bud Smith, I'm so sorry to hear the news about Bud. Unfortunately, my deceased husband, Robert Price (Bud's 1st cousin), and I never made it to Sandpoint to visit Joyce & Bud. Our daughter, Hilary, and her 2 children thoroughly enjoyed their visit with them.”
