He was predeceased by: his father Murel Ropp; and his grandparents, Asa, Lucy Ropp (Arts), Thomas and Adeline Dahl (Mountain).
He is survived by: his mother Valerie Ropp (Dahl); his godfather Alan "Doc"; his wife Lisa; his daughter Brittney; his stepson Gavin Nichols; his sister Christina Ropp Pierson; his nieces, Amanda Pierson and Samantha Albert; and his parents-in-law, Larry and Terri Ivie. He is also survived by two great nieces and a great nephew.
