William Cox Allen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Cox Allen (Salmon, Idaho), who passed away on June 30, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stan Allen and Ila Allen (Cox); his stepmother Carol Westfall Allen; his son Jeffrey Clayton; his siblings-in-law, Esther McElhaney, Mary Scott and Don Scott; and his close friend Raider.
He is survived by: his son Bill; his brother Fred; his wife Diz; his son Ryan Allen (Cori); his siblings, Tom Allen (Larae), Bette Woolsey (Bill) and Erin Jeffords (Larry); his brother-in-law Fred Snook (Karen); his grandchildren, Clayton Samuel and Brook Elizabethjo; and also Fred H. Snook. He is also survived by friends, cousins, great nieces and nephews.
Bill's proudest contribution to Salmon was helping to facilitate the establishment of The Lynch Center and bring a much-needed gym facility to the community and youth.
