Verl Armstrong Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verl Armstrong (Salmon, Idaho), who passed away on December 11, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Armstrong and Martha Armstrong; and his siblings, Don Armstrong, Katy Misner, Dick Armstrong, Bob Armstrong, Mary Hemphill, Norma Wellard, Lola Andrews, Lela Johnson, Melvin Armstrong, Verla Hutchison and Carole Cusic.

He is survived by: his significant other Jerry Rosin (Lila); his brother-in-law Jay Wellard; his wife Nola Armstrong of Salmon, Idaho; his brother Jack Armstrong (Mona) of Salmon, Idaho; his sisters-in-law, Sharon Ankrum of Pahrump and Evelyn Armstrong of Salmon, Idaho; his son Cory Armstrong (Angie) of Boise, Idaho; and his stepsons, John Mitchell, Gary Mitchell (Carol) of Arlee, Montana, Dennis Mitchell of Frenchtown, Montana, Daryl Mitchell of Champion, British Columbia and Bill Mitchell (Judy) of Potlatch, Idaho. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would request that any memorials or donations in Verl's memory be directed to Hospice of Salmon Valley or Steele Memorial Hospital.
