We bid farewell to Larry Banta of Salmon, Idaho, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 15, 2025 at the age of 89. Larry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Banta and Ruth Banta; his wife Jeannie Banta; his brothers, Carroll, Darrell, Jim, Gayle and Russ; his children, Tom Palmer, Gary Myers, Layne Banta and Krystal Crist; his sons-in-law, Elton Crist and Rick Black; and his grandchild Sami Hooper.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Black of Salmon and Loni Hooper (Dan) of Moyie Springs; and his daughter-in-law Debbie Palmer of Pocatello, Idaho.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.
