John Hile Duke Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Hile Duke (Salmon, Idaho), born in Rexburg, Idaho, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though John Hile may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Hile touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean; his children, Todd Duke Terry Duke (Dianna Lyon Duke), Brad Duke (Nicole Vickerman Duke) and Patti Duke; and his siblings, Carol Doris Duke (Eldon Dalley) and Cal Duke Don (Deanne). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

During Semi retirement Hile became the chairman of the Duke Family Foundation.
