We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2020, at the age of 86, John Allen Gilk (Salmon, Idaho), born in Steele, North Dakota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Allen Gilk to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gilk and Dione Gilk (Hough); his son Joel; and his siblings, Kenneth and Marcella.
He is survived by: his friend Jim Schulte; his wife Dorothy Ficenec; and his children, Gregory Gilk of Blackfoot, ID, Thomas Gilk of Edwards, CA, Jeremy Gilk of Idaho Falls, ID, Stacey Winfree (Gilk) of Indianapolis, IN and Sara Gilk-Baumer of Anchorage, AK. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, services for John are being deferred until those he loved can gather safely.
