He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Smith and Hazel Davis; his stepfather Marvin Davis (Red); and his siblings, Larry Smith, Richard Smith, Donald Smith and MaryAnn Sherman.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Smith of Washington, Michael Smith of Oregon, Don Smith of Salmon and Denise Lind (Chris) of Minnesota; and his siblings, Linda Miller of Salmon, Ruth Edwards of Rupert and Blaine Smith of Burley.
