He was predeceased by: his parents, Awanda Cockrell and Kester Cockrell; and his spouse Beverly Hodges. He is survived by: his children, Janna Cockrell, Joyce Porter (Charles), Suzie Miller (Joe), Awanda Bennett (Mike), Charles Cockrell (Nichole) and Danny Cockrell (Ruth). He is also survived by his sister, six children numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren.
