It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Keith Major of Salmon, Idaho, born in Ontario, Oregon, who passed away on August 14, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie "Pat" Major and Nancy Harris Major; his son Bobby; his brother Bruce; his siblings-in-law, Teresa and Tony Fairchild; and also Betty Major.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Keaster of Salmon; his grandson Chris; his children, Michelle Fitzgerald (Andrew) of Shoshone, Teri Beardon of Denver, Lisa Stewart (Rob) of Twin Falls, Dennis, Cole Thoreson (Gabrielle) of Dillon, Montana and Gus Thoreson (Courtney) of Salmon; his sister Janet Fairchild-Hamilton (Craig); his brothers-in-law, Gary, Bruce and Steve Keaster; and also, Stan (Karen) and Kenny "Squeak". He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
