He was predeceased by: his parents, Sheldon Klimpel and Marylane Klimpel; his son Jonathan Peet; and his brother Joe Klimpel. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Peet of Helena, MT; and his siblings, Shelly Mikes of Reno, NV, Paul Klimpel of Butte, MT and Todd Klimpel of Great Falls, MT. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
