With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Ford Hughes of Saint Maries, Idaho, who passed away on October 22, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hughes and Dorothy Zimmerman Hughes; his sister-in-law Kathy Scott; his mother-in-law Carol Schreiber; and his brother-in-law Larry Eubanks.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Schreiber of American Falls, ID.; his daughters, Sarah Hughes (Brennan Sprinkle) of Golden, CO and Laura Hughes (Sean Garrett) of Bothell, WA; his sister Cynthia Hughes of Punta Gorda, FL; his sister-in-law Chris Schreiber; his nephew Zach Pohl (Emily Bregman) of Long Beach, CA; his brother-in-law Steve Scott (Valerie) of Kennewick, WA; his father-in-law Robert Schreiber of American Falls, ID.; and his caregiver Shenelle Pugh.
A memorial service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Eagles Lodge (707 Main Ave, St Maries, ID 83861). A reception was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Elks Lodge 628 (628 Main Ave, St Maries, ID 83861).
