He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ivan McKenzie and Minnie McKenzie; his children, Shirley James (Jesse) of St. Maries, ID, Sharlene Miller (Wesley) of Walla Walla, WA, Sharri Smith (Jesse) of Pritchett, CO and Elden McKenzie of Payson, AZ; and his siblings, Roy McKenzie (Maggi) of Washtucna, WA, Linda Jones of Davenport, WA and Don McKenzie of Prineville, OR. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
